The seeds contained in our ranges designed for posting have all been specially selected so that they can be sent using Royal Mail's 'Letter' category, currently 64p for 1st Class and 55p for 2nd Class. We have also carried out trials to ensure that seeds will not be crushed and will remain in great condition after encountering Royal Mail's machinery.
A brief description of the seed variety and characteristics is given on all cards and favours and basic sowing instructions can be found on seed packets themselves. Further information, including detailed growing guides, can be found on our seed website The Green Seed Company.
We are careful to ensure we always supply you with the freshest possible seed stock. Whilst your recipient will get the very best germination rates by sowing their seeds during the current growing season, they will remain viable for use the following year, although possibly with a slight reduction in the germination rate.
